Recently, CCEWOOL® successfully shipped 1 × 40HC container of 1260°C ceramic fibre insulation blanket to a customer in Singapore with whom we have cooperated for 8 years. This batch, with a specification of 10 × 1100 × 15000 mm and a density of 128 kg/m³, was packed in carton boxes for convenient transportation, storage, and subsequent on-site installation.
This batch of ceramic insulation blanket will mainly be used for equipment outer shell wrapping, thin-layer insulation, and localized structural insulation areas. For the customer, these projects require not only insulation performance, but also dimensional matching and processing performance. Since equipment structures are often special and standard sizes may not always be suitable, while thin products are more likely to be affected by cutting and installation disturbance during construction, what the customer truly needs is not a standard ceramic fibre insulation blanket, but a product solution that can balance dimensional adaptability, processing quality, and installation requirements.
In this project, the 10 × 1100 × 15000 mm specification purchased by the customer was not a conventional standard size, but a solution matched to the actual installation requirements of the project.
For many equipment wrapping and insulation projects, ceramic insulation blanket is not always used directly in standard dimensions.
