Recently, CCEWOOL® successfully shipped one 40HC container of 1260°C Ceramic Fibre Insulation Blanket to a long-term customer in Spain, marking eight years of continued cooperation. This batch of ceramic insulation blanket will be used for a comprehensive insulation upgrade of furnace walls, furnace roofs, and piping systems in a continuous heat treatment furnace.

Based on the specifications ordered, the customer adopted a customized configuration featuring 25 mm thickness in two different widths (280 mm and 940 mm). Such combinations are typically applied in zoned furnace lining and pipe insulation systems. The narrower width is used for complex structural areas or reinforcement layers, while the wider format is installed across large furnace wall and roof sections to improve installation efficiency and minimize joint lines.

Engineering-Based Custom Specification Capability as the Foundation of Long-Term Cooperation

In industrial furnaces and high-temperature piping systems, ceramic fibre insulation blanket is not simply a standard lay-in material. It must be precisely matched to furnace dimensions, anchor spacing, and installation methods.

For this project, CCEWOOL® provided a customized production solution based on the customer’s engineering drawings and installation requirements, including:
Tailored width configurations to match zoned installation layouts
Tight control of thickness and density tolerances
Standardized roll length to reduce on-site joint formation
Compatibility with downstream fabrication and field cutting requirements

By optimizing specifications during the manufacturing stage, the customer was able to reduce on-site trimming loss and secondary adjustments, improve installation efficiency, and maintain overall lining continuity.
For long-term partners, the ability to supply fabrication-ready ceramic insulation blanket engineered to project-specific requirements delivers significantly greater value than standard off-the-shelf inventory.

Third-Party On-Site Inspection Ensuring Verifiable Quality

Prior to shipment, the customer appointed an independent third-party inspection agency to conduct on-site verification at the CCEWOOL® manufacturing facility.
Inspection items included:
Measurement of actual thickness and width tolerances
Density verification (64 kg/m³ confirmation)
Fiber structure uniformity assessment
Packaging integrity and batch traceability confirmation
All inspection results fully complied with contractual technical requirements and customer specifications.

The customer commented:
“CCEWOOL® ceramic fibre insulation blanket demonstrates precise dimensional control and consistent product quality. The third-party on-site inspection further confirms the reliability of their manufacturing and quality management systems.”
For European—and increasingly North American—industrial customers, performance alone is not sufficient. Quality transparency and verifiability are equally critical. CCEWOOL®'s willingness to support third-party inspection, combined with a stable manufacturing system, has been a key reason for the eight-year partnership.
