Recently, CCEWOOL® successfully shipped one 40HC container of 1260°C ceramic insulation blanket to a Spanish customer with whom we have maintained an 8-year cooperation. This batch was supplied in a 25 mm thickness and customized to two special widths, 940 mm and 280 mm, according to the customer’s downstream processing requirements. The products will be used for high-temperature equipment insulation and subsequent Fabrication processing.
For customers requiring secondary processing, standard-width products often need to be recut at the factory or on site, which not only adds extra processing steps but can also generate more offcuts and product waste. At the same time, fiber uniformity and shot content can directly affect cutting, slitting, and downstream processing performance.
Therefore, customers focus not only on the insulation performance of ceramic fiber insulation blanket, but also on whether the product specifications allow it to enter the Fabrication process more directly and whether the product itself can provide stable processing quality.
The 940 mm and 280 mm widths selected by the customer are not conventional standard sizes, but were customized according to its downstream Fabrication requirements.
CCEWOOL® can customize the thickness, width, and length of ceramic insulation blanket according to actual project and processing requirements, allowing the product specifications to better match final component dimensions and equipment structures.
For customers, this customization can help:
Reduce subsequent slitting and secondary cutting
Minimize offcuts and product waste
Improve Fabrication processing efficiency
Better match product dimensions to final installation requirements
Support more standardized and efficient batch processing
Compared with purchasing standard rolls and carrying out additional processing independently, customized ceramic fiber insulation blanket can enter the downstream production process more directly, helping improve overall processing and project execution efficiency.
For ceramic fiber blankets that require cutting, slitting, and continuous processing, shot content and fiber structure can directly affect downstream processing quality.
CCEWOOL® ceramic insulation blanket is formed using imported high-speed centrifugal spinning equipment, helping achieve a more uniform fiber distribution. Combined with our patented shot removal process, the shot content in the product is effectively reduced.
Lower shot content and a more uniform fiber structure help the product achieve more stable performance during downstream Fabrication processing by:
Reducing interference from shot particles during cutting and processing
Helping produce cleaner and more consistent cut edges
Improving consistency in slitting and batch processing
Reducing fiber loosening and product loss during processing
Making the product better suited for manufacturing high-temperature insulation components in different sizes
For customers engaged in long-term Fabrication processing, what they need is not simply a ceramic fiber insulation blanket that can withstand high temperatures, but a product that can also maintain stable performance during cutting, processing, and installation.

Over the past 8 years of cooperation with this Spanish customer, CCEWOOL® has continuously supplied high-temperature insulation products. The customer continues to choose us not only because of the stable insulation performance of our products, but also because CCEWOOL® can provide special specification customization according to its processing requirements and maintain reliable performance in downstream Fabrication.
From customization of thickness, width, and length to high-speed centrifugal spinning and low shot-content control, CCEWOOL® ceramic insulation blanket is designed to better match the customer’s actual needs from procurement through downstream processing.
For customers engaged in long-term processing of high-temperature insulation components, flexible Fabrication customization, extremely low shot content, and stable product quality are important foundations for our continued 8-year cooperation.

A hot blast stove is an essential part of a blast furnace ironmaking system, used to preheat the combustion air supplied to the blast furnace. High-temperature flue gas first transfers heat to the checker bricks, which store the heat. During the subsequent blowing cycle, cold air is heated to approximately 2000–2400°F (1090–1315°C) and then delivered […]
