Recently, CCEWOOL® successfully shipped 1 × 40HC container of high-temperature insulation products to a customer in Poland with whom we have cooperated for 11 years. This order was centered on 1260°C ceramic fiber board, together with 1260°C ceramic fiber paper, for the customer’s downstream customized processing and supporting engineering applications.
This batch of ceramic fiber insulation board will mainly be used for the manufacture of insulation gaskets, structural support insulation components, localized high-temperature supporting parts, and related secondary processed products. For the customer, the focus of this purchase is not only whether the product can withstand high temperatures, but also whether it is truly suitable for downstream processing and can maintain stable performance during cutting, assembly, and supporting component manufacturing.
Project Challenges: Not Only Insulation, but Also Processing Adaptability and Finished Product Consistency
In this type of high-temperature sealing gasket and insulation supporting processing project, the customer is concerned not only with temperature resistance, but also with processing adaptability and finished product consistency. Since different projects have different requirements for board thickness, dimensions, and structure, while secondary processing places higher demands on flatness, thickness stability, and downstream cutting performance, what the customer truly needs is not a standard ceramic fiber board, but a project-oriented product solution that can balance processing stability, dimensional matching, and finished product quality.
In this project, 1260°C ceramic fiber board is mainly used for the downstream manufacture of insulation gaskets, localized support parts, and supporting insulation components. For this type of application, the customer values not only the product’s basic insulation performance, but also whether it offers product quality better suited to Fabrication.
In actual use, ceramic fiber insulation board is rarely applied directly in its original board size as a final product. Instead, it usually enters downstream cutting, hole opening, assembly, and supporting manufacturing processes. If the product structure is not uniform, the thickness is unstable, or if it is prone to chipping, breakage, or dimensional fluctuation during processing, this will directly affect subsequent assembly precision and finished product consistency.
