Recently, CCEWOOL® successfully shipped one 20GP container of 1200°C AES Fiber Blanket to an Indonesian customer with whom we have maintained an 8-year cooperation. This batch will mainly be used for high-temperature furnace lining backup insulation, equipment insulation, and localized high-temperature insulation.
For this type of project, customers focus not only on insulation performance, but also on low fiber biopersistence, occupational health management, and the specific density requirements of different furnace lining structures.
CCEWOOL® 1200°C AES Fiber Blanket is made from an Alkaline Earth Silicate (AES) fiber system with low biopersistence, making it more suitable for projects with higher requirements for occupational health and product compliance.
Mineral fibers that meet the relevant biopersistence criteria under EU Note Q may be exempt from the corresponding carcinogenic classification and labeling requirements. IARC’s published evaluation of low-biopersistence AES fibers also indicates inadequate evidence of carcinogenicity in experimental animals.
Relevant CCEWOOL® products have also undergone testing by Germany’s Fraunhofer Institute for fiber solubility and related performance, providing additional support for product selection and occupational health management.
Different equipment and furnace lining areas require different densities of AES Fiber Blanket. CCEWOOL® can provide multiple density options according to actual project requirements:
96 kg/m³ / 128 kg/m³ / 160 kg/m³
Lower-density products are lighter and more flexible, while higher-density products provide a denser and more stable blanket structure, making them better suited to applications requiring greater structural integrity and installation stability.
For this project, the Indonesian customer selected 160 kg/m³ based on the actual lining structure and application requirements. Multiple density options allow customers to configure products more flexibly for different furnace walls, roofs, and backup insulation areas.

Over the past 8 years of cooperation with this Indonesian customer, CCEWOOL® has continuously supplied high-temperature insulation products. The customer continues to choose our AES Fiber Blanket not only because of its stable insulation performance and low-biopersistence characteristics, but also because we can provide suitable density and specification options for different project requirements.
