Recently, CCEWOOL® successfully shipped one 40HC container of high-temperature insulation products to a Panamanian customer with whom we have maintained a 4-year cooperation. This order was centered on 1260°C ceramic fiber blanket with aluminum foil, together with 1430°C Ceramic Fiber Blanket and 1260°C Ceramic Fiber Tape, for the customer’s high-temperature equipment wrapping, insulation, and localized sealing projects.
This batch of Ceramic Fiber Wrap will mainly be used for equipment surface wrapping, high-temperature pipe and duct insulation, equipment shell insulation, and high-temperature insulation structures requiring an aluminum foil facing.
For this type of project, customers focus not only on the insulation performance of the ceramic fiber blanket itself, but also on the quality of the aluminum foil layer, the foil-facing structure, and whether the product can adapt to downstream Fabrication processing. Different equipment structures and finished component designs require different foil-covering methods, so customization flexibility directly affects downstream processing and installation efficiency.
CCEWOOL® ceramic fiber blanket with aluminum foil uses 0.2 mm aluminum foil and can be supplied with different foil-covering configurations according to the customer’s downstream processing methods and equipment structure.
For different Fabrication applications, available options include:
Single-sided aluminum foil
Double-sided aluminum foil
Full six-sided aluminum foil covering
Flexible foil-covering options make the product better suited to downstream processing requirements for equipment surfaces, pipes, ducts, and irregular structures. They can also reduce secondary foil application and on-site adjustment work, improving both Fabrication and installation efficiency.
For customers who further process the product into insulation components, this customization capability also allows the Ceramic Fiber Wrap to better match the final product structure and actual installation requirements.
In actual high-temperature equipment insulation projects, it is usually difficult for a single product to meet all insulation and sealing requirements.
Large equipment surface areas may require ceramic fiber blanket with aluminum foil; higher-temperature areas may require higher-grade Ceramic Fiber Blanket; while equipment joints, flanges, edges, and localized gaps are better suited to Ceramic Fiber Tape for flexible sealing and auxiliary insulation.
CCEWOOL® provides a full range of high-temperature refractory insulation products and can offer Fabrication customization in temperature grade, thickness, dimensions, and foil-covering configuration according to project requirements. We can also provide mixed-loading services and optimize container loading plans for multiple products.
