Recently, CCEWOOL® completed another order of 1260°C ceramic fibre insulation blanket for shipment to Italy. The order totaled 2 × 40HC containers and included two thicknesses, 25 mm and 50 mm. The products are mainly used for backup insulation and downstream Fabrication of the roof and walls of the customer’s annular heating furnace in the metallurgical industry.
Annular heating furnaces have large lining areas, while the roof, walls, and different connection sections have varying structural and insulation thickness requirements. For this type of project, customers need not only stable high-temperature insulation performance, but also product dimensions that closely match the actual lining structure while maintaining good integrity during subsequent cutting and processing.
For this project, CCEWOOL® provided support through customized Fabrication dimensions and consistent processing quality. The products were tailored to better match the actual structure and installation requirements before delivery, while maintaining reliable dimensional consistency and processing stability to support more efficient installation and batch project applications.
Different thicknesses and widths of ceramic blanket can be configured for the furnace roof, walls, and different backup insulation structures, allowing the products to better match actual installation space and insulation layer design.
CCEWOOL® can customize product thickness, width, and length according to project drawings and installation requirements through Fabrication services.
This customized approach can help customers:
Better match furnace roof and wall dimensions
Reduce on-site cutting and dimensional adjustment
Minimize material waste
Improve batch installation efficiency
Simplify downstream Fabrication processes
For large furnace lining projects, completing dimensional matching in advance allows the ceramic fibre insulation blanket to move more directly into subsequent processing and installation.
In addition to dimensional customization, customers also place significant importance on the stability of Ceramic Fiber Blanket during downstream processing.
Fiber blankets intended for Fabrication need to maintain excellent fiber integrity and dimensional consistency during cutting, slitting, laying, and further processing. If the product structure is unstable, it can increase processing difficulty and affect the consistency of batch-fabricated components.
CCEWOOL® Ceramic Fiber Blanket is produced using a fully automated CNC fiber collection system, which ensures more uniform fiber distribution and more precise control of product thickness and density, making it especially suitable for:
Cut-to-size processing
Slitting
Multilayer assembly
Fabrication of shaped insulation components
Batch production of furnace lining components
This stable Fabrication quality can help customers reduce downstream trimming, improve processing and installation efficiency, and maintain better consistency between different production batches.

For large industrial furnaces such as annular heating furnaces, backup insulation products must not only meet high-temperature insulation requirements, but also adapt to large roof and wall areas as well as different structural sections.
Customer Feedback
“Since we started working with CCEWOOL®, the quality and dimensions of their ceramic fiber blankets have remained highly consistent. They can provide different thicknesses and widths according to our project requirements, while the products also maintain good stability during downstream cutting and processing. Flexible Fabrication customization, stable product quality, and reliable supply are important reasons why we continue to work with CCEWOOL®.”
Through project-specific sizing + stable Fabrication quality, CCEWOOL® ceramic fibre insulation blanket can help customers reduce secondary processing, improve installation efficiency, and better meet the practical backup insulation requirements of annular heating furnace roofs, walls, and other high-temperature equipment.

An Aluminum Melting Furnace is mainly used for melting and holding aluminum ingots, recycled aluminum, and other aluminum materials. Pure aluminum has a melting point of approximately 660°C, but the actual molten aluminum temperature in industrial production is typically higher. Meanwhile, the furnace roof, upper walls, and burner areas are exposed to flames, high-temperature flue […]
