Recently, CCEWOOL® completed another shipment of high-temperature refractory and insulation products to the U.K. This order was centered on 1260°C ceramic fiber insulation board, together with Calcium Silicate Board, Low Bio Persistent Fiber Blanket, and Ceramic Fiber Blanket, all consolidated into one container for shipment.
These products are mainly used for the maintenance and upgrade of the wall and roof backup insulation system of the customer’s walking beam reheating furnace in the steel industry.
Different areas of a walking beam reheating furnace have different temperatures, structures, and insulation requirements. The furnace walls, roof, and peripheral backup insulation system must not only reduce heat transfer toward the furnace shell, but also use suitable rigid boards and flexible fiber products according to the requirements of each area. As a result, this type of project usually requires a combination of refractory and insulation products with different temperature grades, densities, and structural forms rather than a single product.
For this project, CCEWOOL® ensured consistent Fabrication quality through a digitally integrated forming process, while also providing one-stop product matching and mixed-load supply across its full product range. This integrated support, from customized processing to coordinated project supply, helps improve product consistency, purchasing efficiency, and overall project execution.
CCEWOOL® Ceramic Fiber Board is manufactured under digitally controlled production processes. From raw material proportioning, slurry preparation, forming, and drying to final sizing, key production stages are carefully controlled to achieve more uniform fiber distribution and improved consistency in dimensions and density.
This stable board quality makes the product better suited for downstream operations such as:
Precision cutting
Drilling and grooving
Shaped component processing
Batch Fabrication
Installation of furnace wall and roof backup insulation components
For customers who use ceramic fiber insulation board in long-term batch production, stable dimensions and density help reduce downstream adjustment, improve consistency between batches, and allow the products to move more smoothly into subsequent processing and installation.
Different areas of a walking beam reheating furnace require different insulation products. For this reason, the customer did not purchase only Ceramic Fiber Board, but also selected several complementary refractory and insulation products.
1260°C Ceramic Fiber Insulation Board
Mainly used for rigid backup insulation in furnace wall and roof areas;
1000°C Calcium Silicate Board
Used in relatively lower-temperature peripheral backup areas to provide rigid thermal insulation;
1200°C Low Bio Persistent Fiber Blanket
Used where flexible installation and filling are required, especially in areas where low-biopersistence fiber products are preferred;
1260°C Ceramic Fiber Blanket
Used for flexible lining backup, localized filling, and insulation of complex structures.
By combining different products, rigid boards and flexible fiber products can each perform their appropriate functions, providing a more suitable insulation configuration for furnace walls, roofs, and localized connection areas.
CCEWOOL® manufactures and supplies a broad range of refractory and thermal insulation products, allowing customers to source multiple products for one furnace lining project from a single supplier. This helps reduce the workload involved in coordinating, purchasing, and arranging transportation with multiple vendors.
CCEWOOL® can calculate recommended container loading quantities based on product dimensions, packaging formats, and order volumes, and can plan mixed-load shipments in advance.
By coordinating loading quantities before shipment, container space can be used more efficiently while helping customers:
Purchase multiple product categories in one order
Reduce separate shipments for different products
Improve container space utilization
Simplify procurement and logistics management
Receive multiple products together according to project requirements
For large industrial furnace maintenance and lining upgrade projects, this combination of one-stop product supply + mixed-load shipment support can significantly simplify procurement coordination.

For large industrial furnaces such as walking beam reheating furnaces, customers typically need more than a single specification of ceramic fiber board. They need a combination of refractory and insulation products capable of matching different temperature zones, structures, and installation methods.
This supply model helps customers reduce the number of suppliers involved and creates smoother coordination between product procurement, Fabrication, transportation, and on-site installation.
Customer Feedback
“We have worked with CCEWOOL® for nine years. The dimensions, density, and processing quality of their ceramic fiber boards have remained stable and consistently meet our downstream processing requirements. They can also supply multiple refractory and insulation products in one order and help us plan mixed loading and container quantities, which makes project procurement and logistics much simpler. Stable product quality, a comprehensive product range, and reliable supply are important reasons why we continue our long-term cooperation.”
Through digitally integrated production + Fabrication quality + full-range product supply + mixed-load shipment support, CCEWOOL® ceramic fiber board can better meet the backup insulation and downstream processing requirements of industrial furnaces while helping customers manage procurement and supply for large furnace lining projects more efficiently.
An Aluminum Melting Furnace is mainly used for melting and holding aluminum ingots, recycled aluminum, and other aluminum materials. Pure aluminum has a melting point of approximately 660°C, but the actual molten aluminum temperature in industrial production is typically higher. Meanwhile, the furnace roof, upper walls, and burner areas are exposed to flames, high-temperature flue […]
